What's been going on...

I've put up some Christmas decorations and Kate is loving every minute of this season's decor.

climbing is a new hobby of hers...

i found this fabric on Joann's website and fell in love with it, convincing Daniel it was perfect for our sliding glass door took a few months, but i was well worth it... It came in the mail just days ago...

And then yesterday, i tackled the drapery project.
No pattern, no sewing experience, no exact measurements...

I can't believe they actually turned out... I'm quite proud of myself.

They look fantastic and go great with the rest of my house... I'm still not sure if i did it the "right way" but they are holding up and look dang good! I for sure will be making more for the rest of my house!

p.s. i really enjoy sewing, and i absolutely LOVE my sewing machine!

  4. You are a brave woman! I cant even wrap a gift and make it look decent. Gift bags are the way to go for me. Think they would work as curtains? haha

Fun reading. I love it that you didn't have a pattern and just started sewing. Maybe I'll try that. I have always wanted to sew "things".
