I've put up some Christmas decorations and Kate is loving every minute of this season's decor.
climbing is a new hobby of hers...
i found this fabric on Joann's website and fell in love with it, convincing Daniel it was perfect for our sliding glass door took a few months, but i was well worth it... It came in the mail just days ago...
And then yesterday, i tackled the drapery project.
No pattern, no sewing experience, no exact measurements...
I can't believe they actually turned out... I'm quite proud of myself.
They look fantastic and go great with the rest of my house... I'm still not sure if i did it the "right way" but they are holding up and look dang good! I for sure will be making more for the rest of my house!
p.s. i really enjoy sewing, and i absolutely LOVE my sewing machine!

Also- I asked for a sewing machine for christmas... maybe you could help me make some things- your house is adorable- I love it- it is so pottery barnish- ;) oh yeah- I want to go to that craft show... when is it?
ReplyDeletewe have twin curtains! that is the exact fabric that I made my curtains in my living room with and I even did tabs at the top too. They look great and pattern shmattern its just a square they look awesome!
