Lucy turns 3!

We celebrated Lucy on her birthday with a fancy steak and chicken dinner and her requested marble bundt cake.
We sang.
We ate.
We enjoyed each others company.

For her friends party, she requested Menchies.
So we invited a few little girls over to Menchies Fro Yo and celebrated agian!
It's pretty safe to say she had a GREAT Birthday!

Happy Birthday my LUCY PEARL!

Preschool.

Lucy's first day of Preschool started right after Labor Day.
She goes to Ms. Jamie's Preschool (just like her sister did).
She just adores Ms. Jamie (well, we all do!)
She goes 2 days a week and absolutely LOVES it.

Kindergarten.

 How do i even have a child old enough to go to Kindergarten? Well, apparently i do.
Kate started Kindergarten the last week of August.
We were so lucky to find such a great Charter school not too far from us.
Imagine School at Mountain View.
Not to mention they provide ALL day kindergarten for FREE!
It's a long day, but totally worth it.
She is learning so much!
I have nothing but good, no, GREAT things to say about the school, the staff, everything!

Kate's first couple days were fantastic.
She loves it.
However she gets pretty nervous going to school everyday.
But when she's there she is fine. And luckily, she still LOVES it!
Her teachers are FANTASTIC!

Little Bro's Wedding.

The whole reason we went up to Utah is for My little brother, Kyle's, wedding. The wedding was gorgeous! As was the bride and the groom. Love these two. They are perfect for eachother! Welcome to the crazy family, kelc!

Hoogle Zoo and Gardner Village. - Utah 2012

We ventured to the Zoo while in Utah. We had never been. It was such a great zoo! Not too big, not too small, just perfect. It was a bit hot, but nothing a few Vegas girls couldn't handle. All the kids had a great time seeing all the different animals. My favorite was the Polar Bear. He was so active and fun to watch. Lucy loved the tigers and Kate thought the giraffes were so cool!

A couple days before we went home we took a Girls Day Out and went to Gardner Village to have a tea party. This was the cutest thing! Dolls, hats, aprons... Kate, Lucy, Hailey and Nat had a great time. We sipped on Raspberry Lemonade ate mini cupcakes and cookies. We went on a fairy hunt and chatted the day away. What a fun lunch date with our girls!

Utah Vacation July/Aug 2012

We went to Lehi for 2 weeks during the summer. We had a great time hanging out with my sister and her kids! We were there for Pioneer Day and Lindsey's ward had a Ward Activity and Kate ran her first 1/2 mile run and i think she thought she was going to die. She could barely breathe when she finished. But we were so proud of her for doing it. Tyler rocked it and ended in 3rd place.

While we were there i planned a Bridal Shower for my sister-in-law, Kelcie. It was a 'Sweet as a Peach" theme and it all came together so great.

One day, I was able to spend some time with my college roommates and there cute kids. I loved chatting with them and getting caught up with their lives. Love me some Tara and Jules time!

We also headed to the Alpine pool and let the kids get all their energy out. We left a bit early than we wanted because there was a huge wind storm and table umbrellas were flying all over the place. It was a bit scary... but we survived.
