Housewife...

As a housewife, one of my main duties, like many others, is taking care of kate (or as i look at it, playing with kate). I absolutely love spending my days with my girl... She cracks me up and surprises me daily. Plus, call me biased, but she is sooo smart. The girl knows exactly what she wants and looks at me like i'm crazy if i can't understand what she is trying to say. She's such a good helper and loves to do laundry with me. I'm sure baby #2 will be just as fun, but, right now, i love my alone time with baby #1.

This "roller coaster" was a gift from santa and kate has a ball with it. She will play on it for hours, she will also share turns with her babies and sully.

I think the pictures say it all. We can't get kate to leave sully alone, she follows him, picks him up and wants to be with him all the time. Me, the puppy is giving me a little anxiety, and my senses are very sensitive, i wish the thing was house trained and would sleep in his crate without whining once the whole night. Well see how this works out. I'm ready for the i told you so's and have no shame about it... so comment away. I'm just glad the little guy is loved by my two.

Many of you know my sister-in-law, Cami... she's an Esthetician, and if you live in vegas, she usually comes down every now and then and does wxing parties at my house. She is great and her prices are very good. She just made a blog for all your aesthetic needs, called hersandhairs. She also just finsihed certifying in laser hair removal and just got a job in alpine, utah (for all you utahns) All her prices and info is on this blog. Check it out... also, on her blog she will be upating and letting us know when she is coming to vegas for another waxing party, so put this on your google readers and on your link list and spread the word. New Addition...

Yesterday we picked this little guy up from beaver, ut...

After months and months of searching for the perfect dog/breed for us, we decided on a mini schnauzer. They don't get too big and they don't shed, which is exactly what we want. So i searched and searched for the one i wanted which took another few months and we finally found a breeder in manti, ut who's price was right and whose puppies were just adorable. Called her, arranged to meet in beaver and now we have a puppy. A ton of names have been thrown out there, but haven't set him with a name yet. Any suggestions? Kate is loving this dog and tries to get it to "come" to her everywhere she goes.
Also, speaking of new additions, last night a home pregnancy test confirmed baby #2 on the way, which made us even more excited (and me a little nervous). And makes us #15 in the ward baby boom (yes, 15+ ladies in my ward prego.) So i think it puts this baby arriving sometime early to mid september, which to me feels like its around the corner and will come sooner than i expect... My pregnancy with Kate was pretty much a breeze (yes i am one of those lucky ones) and i'm hoping baby #2 will be the same... So i'm about 6 1/2 weeks along (which is very early to tell people, but it's hard for me to keep secrets like this, plus i hate to lie to people if they ask) So whoever reads this first will know first and they can pass along the information as they wish.

While busy with photo editing, i glanced over to see this sweet one "chillin" in her chair... i could not resist the kodak moment, i tried to get her candidly, but she knows me all too well and as soon as i whipped out my camera he turned to me and said "cheese."

Oh how i love this girl... she can put the biggest smile on my face!
