Halloween 2011

Kate was dying to be Ariel this year for Halloween. So after looking at a bunch of different ariel costumes, she settled for this one. She loved all the sparkles and the purple and green. She said it looked exactly like Ariel.
Lucy, she wants to do anything Kate does. So she content being Ariel's sister, (Arista, i think?).
We went to mimi and papa's to take a few photos before heading over to our Ward Trunk or Treat. Love these cute girls.

Friends at Trunk or Treat.
Kate and Lucy were so excited to finally go trick or treating... actually Lucy couldn't believe people were just giving her candy.

As for Daniel and I, we thought about keeping the theme of little mermaid... Me being Ursula and Daniel being King Triton... but the shirtless mer-king was not a convincing costume. So we settled on Cowboys and Indians. (P.S. 24 weeks pregnant)

Love this cowboy.

A tooth.

On October 9th, Kate lost her very first tooth.
Can you believe it?
She's 4.
A very mature 4, might i add.
She noticed it was a bit wiggly about a week before.
I didn't believe her until i checked for myself.
And sure enough, it was loose.
I do remember (at her last dental apt) that her dentist told me it would be soon that that tooth would come out, but i guess i didn't believe him either.
She likes her new look.

That night, she put her tooth and a note under her pillow and anticipated the infamous tooth fairy.
And when she woke up she found $5 and a note.
She was thrilled!
The tooth fairy was good to her.

{1st Annual} South Stake Country Fair.

Our Church put on this country fair a couple weekends ago. And let me just say, it was a HIT!
Food, Friends, Games, Prizes, slides and a dunk tank were all part of the party. I think i heard there was 1,500+ people there. It was a packed house! We ate, listened to some live music, played a few games, got face painted and then watched as our bishop got dunked in the dunk tank. We had quite the fun and the kids were bummed when it was time to go home. Can't wait til next years Fair!

Stu Millers Pumpkin Patch 2011.

Our annual trip to Stu Miller's Pumpkin Patch was a success once again! The girls had a blast riding the rides, jumping in the bounce houses and checking out all the different sizes and shapes of the pumpkins. After the patch we headed to Mimi and Papa's house and carved some pumpkins. I think everyone did a great job, we have definite carving skill!

The girls are so excited for Halloween and to trick or treat, they are mermaids this year. As for Daniel and i, we have been busy trying to get organized for our family of 4 turning into a family of 5 shortly after the holidays. I feel like i have so much time, but i know it will be here before i know it. Looking for "boy stuff" is new to me, but i'm getting more used to turning and looking on the boys side of Gap instead of gravitating toward the cute, frilly, pink dresses, skirts, shoes and things of the girls side. (I still think shopping for a girl is so much more fun than shopping for a boy.) But besides the clothes, i am so looking forward to meeting this handsome little guy come February. And the girls are beyond excited to have another set of toes to play 'this little piggy' with. Baby bother is going to be quite popular around here, i can already tell.

Love this boy.
