Mission Reunions...

Daniel and I were lucky enough to go up to SLC during conference weekend to attend both his mission reunions... Sans kiddos, thanks to Ron, Kathie, Cami, Tanner and Darren.
We hadn't been to his reunions for a while... and boy were they great! It was wonderful to see both his presidents (and their amazing wives) and some of his friends from the mission.
President Bowen and President Watson were both so ecstatic to see Elder Dye again. They both said such wonderful things about him that made me smile. (I am one lucky girl!) We are so glad we could go up and spend some time with these amazing men and their wives.

We love you Bowens and Watsons!!!

A night out.

Planned by my one and only... for mother's day. It was delightful.

We suited up and rode off into the sun on Daniel's motorcycle.
The evening started at DW Bistro. It was delicious as always. If you haven't tried it, you should definitely make plans to, it will surely satisfy your pallet.

After DW, we walked over to the putt park. We had a blast and i even made a hole in one on hole number 16! We talked and laughed and laughed and laughed.

We all had pretty good games, but ultimately Daniel won. Congrats dan the man.

After that we got a tip that they were serving free frozen yogurt for the grand opening of menchies. So we headed over there... although we were a little late for the free stuff, we still enjoyed some.

It was a great night and we had tons of fun! Thanks to the Utley's for joining us!
Thank you to the Dye's and Well's for keeping eye on our girlies...
And thank you to Daniel for a great Mother's Day!

Beatles - LOVE

For Valentine's day i surprised daniel with LOVE tickets. We've been obsessed with the Beatles lately and i only found it fitting to buy LOVE tickets for the day of LOVE. He was surprised, completely surprised! [and it's really hard to surprise this boy.] Sandy and Colby agreed to watch the girls and take them to our ward activity that was on the same day as the show. Thank you!
Daniel and i had a great time out... and we absolutely LOVEd the show, it was absolutely one of the best cirque shows i have seen. I just want to sing the Beatles all day...

Valentine's day.

Our 3rd annual valentine's day dinner. I love this tradition, i look forward to it every year [well at least for the last 3 years]. We have a great time. This year we missed the Papas due to an ugly sickness... we really missed you guys.

We went to Hokkaido... de.li.cious! And our cook, Matt, was as fun and hilarious as they get.

Daniel's Birthday...

We celebrated a little more this past weekend with the gift i gave daniel... A 2 night stay a Caesar's Palace and tickets to Le Reve. We had such a great time relaxing, watching movies, lounging by the pool and eating at some fantastic restaurants, we really felt like we were out of town even though we were 15 mins away. Kate stayed overnight at mimi and papa's and had a blast.. THANKS SO MUCH!

our room... on the 45th floor of the Augustus Tower.

LET'S GO REBELS!

Ron and Kathie so generously let us use their tickets to the UNLV Rebels game Friday night. Kathie was working and Ron offered to watch kate while we had a little alone time at a very spirited sporting event. Thanks so much, even though this was the 1st in 19 home games that was lost, we still had fun.

And oh this girl... the climber, chocolate eater, book tearer, dog feeder, climber, mess maker, whiner, glass dropper (yes kate broke yet another dish at gpa's), climber, sofa jumping, massage chair operator and more active and busy than ever... i hope papa will want to watch you again... i think he will, he can't resist this face!

Thanks ron (papa), you're the best father-in-law ever, seriously!
