Our Weekend...

Thursday night Cami (my SIL) flew in town to hang out for the weekend... Kate of course so excited to se her aunt... She's an esthetician, so i set up a bunch of waxing appts for her with some of my friends... so, Friday there was a "waxing party" at my house... she was working an 8 to 5! After that we were pretty beat... Kathie and darren came over for a little while to see how we were doing and to bring us this treat! THANKS, it was much needed! We then went to my in-laws house and hung out there for a while and made plans for the next day... Saturday morning, daniel, kate and i, helped our neighbors move dirt to their backyard and they had a ton extra so they gave it to us for our backyard (which is a work in progress right now... any suggestions of what people can't live without in their backyard?)
After that Daniel took off four wheeling with his dad and brother and kathie, cami, michelle, kate and i headed out to the Primm Outlets... We were having a good time shopping, shopping and more shopping... then i got a phone call from Daniel saying that darren wrecked and that they were in the urgent care, we were all really worried, daniel assured me that it wasn't as bad as it could have been... he sent me this picture {via blackberry} right after his head wound was cleaned...

and then this picture after he got his stitches with the caption reading "show mom he's smiling."

Luckily darren walked away from that accident with a few stitches, bruises, and sprained wrists and nothing too drastic happened... Daniel saw the whole thing happen and said that it could have been much worse... we could have lost him... We are so grateful for his life and that someone was watching over him... we are so grateful to have him in our family... his unique personality, sense of humor, service, love for everyone and for life, and his selflessness is such a great example to me! We love you bear!
After we got home and made sure he was ok, we ordered cafe rio and hung out for a bit. Sunday came, our friends blessed their baby and we went over there for a little brunch after church... then back over to my in-laws for some yummy chicken enchiladas. Kate started to get sick... runny nose, fever... you know how it goes... she crashed for the night on her dad right before we were getting ready to leave... poor girl, i hate sickly babies, its so sad!

Monday... to be continued...
