Father's Day...

This father's came and went so fast, i wasn't prepared... It was somewhat of a hectic day, we went to church at 9, then i had a camp meeting at 2, then a special ward meeting at 3 (they split our ward) Then to Ron + Kathie's for dinner and home to bed. I took no pictures... but to follow my ode to mother's on mother's day, here is to the Fathers... the workers, patriarchs, the boys, the funnies, the providers, the kings, the tender hearted...

Ronny Boy... This man is incredible, he has raised an amazing family (alongside his wonderful wife of course). He is sweet and loving. He is a definite hard worker. Kathie and Daniel both talk of his long, long hours of working to make sure his family was taken care of. He taught his kids the value of work. Ron has been such a great father in my life from helping my family out in any way to making all of us laugh with his witty comments and sense of humor. He is a good husband and has taught daniel to be the same (which i am very very grateful for). He is a handy man, and even though sometimes i shut down his ideas of fixing or making something, i know he can do it. He is determined and strong... He is righteous and obedient... He is a wonderful grandpa to Kate and absolutely adores her. He is the best Father-In-Law i could ever dream of... I got completely lucky in that category. He is not only a dad to daniel but also a friend and co-worker (they love to work together). He is a good example in all he does. I am so grateful for Ron and the love he shows me. Thank you for all you do... you really are great! Love ya!

Daniel... What can i say, i love this boy! I can go on and on and on about how great he is and how wonderful he is for putting up with me! He is a terrific dad and an amazing husband. A good friend of his family always says that women are for spoiling (who could argue with that?), And he has definitely spoiled me. It's natural to think your husband is the best at everything, but mine really is... you name it, he can do it! From cleaning the house, to fixing things, to cars, to playing sports... ok so he isn't the best dancer, but he tries it, and i like it! He's always there when i or kate needs him and he's always willing to do anything. He takes care of me so well and he works so hard. He is my best friend, my eternal companion, my confidant, my heart, my love, and my world! Thank you for being you! Loves!!!

My dad... I can think of a lot of good times throughout my life involving my dad! He has taught me so much! A few things that stand out about my dad: He is a great great speaker. I can't tell you how much i've heard him speak in church and every single one of those talks seemed effortless, yet they were so inspirational and spiritual. It's a gift. He is so friendly.. He can go up to anyone and strike up conversation, he is not shy and non-judgmental. He can always make me smile, he tells some funny jokes and says some funny things that just make me chuckle! He's always there, always loving, always lending a helping hand, always praising, always cheerful, always positive, always being a dad and a friend. He is a wonderful, wonderful, wonderful man, who i will always look up to. He is and always has been a great dad and i thank him very much for that! He is a magnet for kate, she just adores him and always wants him to hold her. She has a special bond with grandpa p because she got his blue eyes (that none of his kids got). He is a fun, happy, exciting, wonderful grandpa... We love him so much! xoxo
