My mom...

I don't think this woman can get any more amazing... She is always looking to help others, she is caring, loving, selfless and always puts her family first. She is always a HUGE help when she comes our way. When Lucy was born she came down for a few days to help me with the transition from 1 kiddo to 2. And boy did she help... I cannot thank her enough for everything she did for me in the 4 days she was here... which included: waking up in the wee hours to comfort little Lucy, while letting me enjoy a few extra hours of sleep... potty training Kate (this is amazing!)... making dinner... cleaning constantly... doing laundry... keeping Kate occupied... putting Kate to sleep... making delicious smoothies... watching the girls so i could run a few errands... and the list goes on. I can only dream to be a mother to my kids like she was to me. I love you mom... thanks for coming. We miss you and can't wait for you to come back!!! THANK YOU!

It is funny to hear you describe your mom because I think that is EXACTLY how people would describe you. :)

Oh, seeing these pictures makes me miss your mom! I used to love visiting teaching her in NOLA...she is such a great lady! I also read the post about your mother-in-law, whom I also knew, though not nearly as well as your mom (I worked with her at Pottery Barn). Both are wonderful women, you lucky gal! And congratulations on your new baby girl...she's just precious!
