Our number two and a bit of gratitude.

I might be a bit biased, but isn't she just adorable??? Those eyes, oh those eyes... and that cute little top lip. And i can't forget those sweet cheeks. I could stare at this beauty all day long!

p.s. can you see her earrings? aren't they cute?

With kate, i admit, i didn't really like the newborn stage, i just wanted her to grow up... maybe it was the stress of being a new mom, or the worrying that i wasn't going to be a good enough, or the feeling of 'am i doing this right?'
But this go around, i am so much enjoying this newborn stage... and it's probably because i know a little more than before, i know what to expect and i feel prepared.

I am so grateful for this opportunity i have to be a mother.
I am so grateful for these two sweet little girls that have so much blessed my life.
I am so grateful for an amazing [that might be an understatement] husband, who is always by my side, who is always helping me, who is always working so hard, who is always loving me regardless of my [many] faults.
I am so grateful for the small and simple things that remind me that our heavenly father is constantly watching over me and strengthening me.
I am so grateful for little girl smiles.
I am so grateful for family who love me and mine so much and help us with whatever i need.
I am so grateful for friends who keep me sane.
I am so grateful for my life.
I am so grateful that i am happy.

Thanks for reading.
