Independence Day part 2 - BBQ + Stadium of Fire

After the Parade we went over to Spanish Fork for a BBQ and to meet Dustin's Family (Rachel's fiance). It was also Dustin's Grandpa's Birthday. They were all so sweet and we had a great time visiting with them. They had a ton of food and the hamburgers and hot dogs were delicious!

We also had some ice cream and homemade cake! YUM! Darren brought a friend he met from the church history tour, Tiffany. She was such a sweetheart.

Kate was having fun opening and closing the sliding glass door and leaving face prints and hand marks all over their windows... Sorry.

We left Spanish Fork and after a few hours piled in the car once again and went over to the Stadium of Fire and awaited the much anticipated Miley Cyrus. I'm not a huge fun, so she wasn't much of an interest to me, but Blue Man Group was also there and they did a great job!!!

We really enjoyed it and look forward to this Dye Tradition ever year!

It was Kate's First stadium of fire and she loved it... she always had something to look at and everyone was really helpful with holding her... Thanks!

They had a nice little program at the beginning where they told us the meaning of the colors red, white and blue. They had sky divers come from the sky and some dancers dance. They also have these jets fly right over the stadium which is really cool cause the whole stadium shakes and everyone cheers!

Our all american girl...

The firework this year were fantastic as always. They lasted at least 30 mins maybe more. Kate was mesmerized and couldn't keep her eyes off them! What a great Independence Day!!!!

P.S. We really missed Cami... but i'm sure she's having fun in Europe!
