The next day also included a traditional morning walk to seaside donuts (seriously can't get enough of their sprinkled cake donuts!) and then back to the beach house for a mini nap.
Lunch time arrived and we ventured to RUBY's on the pier... love that place too! At look out from the pier, the beach looked crowded.
Rachel and Emily had also taken a weekend getaway and we met up with them for a few minutes. They pointed out the polygamist family of the fundamentalist church of latter day saints, i have just finished reading the book "Stolen Innocence" written by a young girl of this faith, her trials, her life and breaking free of warren jeffs. After finishing this book I have a special place in my heart for these families and especially the children, they have to go through so much and i wish they would know and accept the truth. Isn't the little boy just darling?!
After lunch we rented a little electric boat and explored around the harbor. Kate wasn't too happy about the life vest, but got used to it.
