Welcome Home Kyle!

This is my brother.
He faithfully served a 2 year mission for The Church Of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints, in Richmond, Virginia.
I am so proud of him.
We all are.
He hasn't seen Kate since she was 1o months old.
He's never met Lucy.
Tonight will be a sweet, sweet reunion.
I can not wait!

a 2 year old [almost 3] and an 8 month old.

One late afternoon [about a month ago] the kids were playing with sidewalk chalk... so i stared snapping away.

A night out.

Planned by my one and only... for mother's day. It was delightful.

We suited up and rode off into the sun on Daniel's motorcycle.
The evening started at DW Bistro. It was delicious as always. If you haven't tried it, you should definitely make plans to, it will surely satisfy your pallet.

After DW, we walked over to the putt park. We had a blast and i even made a hole in one on hole number 16! We talked and laughed and laughed and laughed.

We all had pretty good games, but ultimately Daniel won. Congrats dan the man.

After that we got a tip that they were serving free frozen yogurt for the grand opening of menchies. So we headed over there... although we were a little late for the free stuff, we still enjoyed some.

It was a great night and we had tons of fun! Thanks to the Utley's for joining us!

First Dentist Appointment.

We took kate for her first dental check up a couple months ago. We took her to our dentist and good friend, just to get a feel of it. She was a little scared... but after all was said and done she didn't think it was that bad. She has a few cavities and we are hoping to have them fixed by next month. We had another apt with a pediatric dentist and he was so great with her and she loved the tv's on the wall and the fun treats.

Puzzler.

Kate is a puzzle fanatic.
She love them.
She can most of them by herself.
And she'll do them over and over and over again.



She loves the challenge.
I continue to get harder puzzles,
thinking it will take her at least a week to figure it out.
However, it usually only takes her about an hour to figure out a new puzzle.



And no matter how many time she finishes a puzzle,
She gets completely excited.
It's so cute.
She is so proud of herself.
Then she takes it apart and does it again.



I recently bought her a 41 piece princess puzzle.
She loved it.
Got it done in about an hour ( with some help).



I love her.
I love her mind.
I love her creativity.
She's so smart.

Dan the Man turned 28 on April 21st. We had a small get together and by request, homemade brownies with mint chip ice cream, no cake. Hope you had a good day, babe!

A post... finally.

Blue skies were upon us one spring day in st george. This was probably over a month ago. Linds (my sis) and the kids were in st george for a couple days, so we took a day trip to hang out. Tyler and Kate are the best of friends, they always ask about each other and are always wondering when the next time they can see each other.

The splash park on main is a spot we frequent. It is literally a block away from my mom's. So we strap the kids in the stroller and walk down. It entertains for hours, seriously.

Like i said, they are the best of friends.

It's always good to have uncle Kevin around... he's always such a BIG help.

And Lucy Pearl... she was content in her car seat and flying in the air.
